Perfect answer for A. Wow! great call, I thought that would be the last one to go. She's a beast alright.
A, B and C are correct.

amazing how in the 70's, D was probably the post popular cartridge in Australia. Now, 40 years on, we can't recognize it. How times have changed.

We have A B C and D correct.
A . The mighty 6.5 x 68 Schuler or RWS. 1290 got that one.
B. 375 H&H. Westy got that.
C. 45/70. Westy got that one as well.
D. The good old 222. 1290 got that one, with a lot of hints I might add.
E. ? the rimmed case at the bottom is not a 7mm Waters. I did give the hint "Think me in 1892" It just has you a bit stumped because it's rimmed for use in break action single shot rifles. Not in it's original military form.

too much shoulder for the Krag I'd say... looks 7mm but I dont think its a 7mm Mag Flanged H&H, maybe its a 30Flanged Nitro Express Purrrrdey... these are the only close one with a non-chamfered rim

If not then I give up..
whats the prize anyway?

Surprised it hasn't been guessed. Oldest, most popular 7mm of them all. Parent of the 257 Rob! Surely that ill do it. :D
