Did you like hand buff that brass up so it looked pretty for the photo?

That's the shiniest cleanest brass I ever did see.

Would you believe I have a secret recipe I soak the fired brass in for just 10 minutes? Cousin ITs uncle gave it to me.
Not reloads, new ammo, straight out of the box

Seating depth could potentially get bumped a thou here or there.

If you're walking around with them in your pocket though you're obviously hunting not shooting a match so it wouldn't matter anyway.

That is the good thing about an Uncle Mikes belt pouch it is like a wallet and can also be carried in your pocket .

Butt sock with 4-5 loops for ammo always does the job for me.

Solve the problems either way.

On a conventional stock a butt stock ammo holder works good .

The ammo is polished but not absolutely patina free as it is too dark in colour . When it's patina free it's a much lighter colour and not as glossy but it darkens with time and with just exposure to air . As it darkens it becomes more reflective and glossy for a while .

I'd buy a spare mag over the pocket if they we're $140 for a piece of plastic :problem:

Recent instance in NZ where a bloke had .22lr rounds and spare batteries in his pocket.
Somehow a round got charged and went off. Without the chamber and barrel, it simply split and blew apart, still with force to put holes in his jacket, projectile was never to be seen again.

Would still make you want to change your underwear.

I'd have said no problem but adding a batter to the mix is asking for trouble

Just watched a video of a discharge in pocket happening at a shooting range. Kinda scary. Would have never thought this would happen. Not going to carry loose ammon anymore in my pocket. Guy was lucky he wasn't hurt. https://www.facebook.com/PracticalAppli ... 3817871495

Look at 25yard Service Match. It's a requirement; all rounds are loaded out of the pocket. At one point you have 20 rounds in there. Admittedly, not walking around, but never heard of any issues.

Have always put my extra .22 ammo in my pockets. Never been concerned about safety regarding accidental discharge, I'm more likely to come across a rabbit like in the Holy Grail that takes my head off...

The issue I get though and the reason why I am considering another method for carrying extras is often I end up with bits of wax coming off the projectile, going all over the inside of my pocket and then the wax also makes its way onto the case which causes a dirty chamber and sometimes difficulty chambering and ejecting the case.
It'll shoot the fleas off a dog's back at five hundred yards, Tannen, and it's pointed straight at your head!

I often use .22 casings as toll payment on the bike. Just carry them in your mouth and spit them into the bucket.
