Who's a cartridge collector?

Post by hoogle » 25 Oct 2013, 9:48 am

Hi guys

There must be a few collectors in the house here :)

Who's a cartridge collector?

I'm sure my little row of brass scavenged from the range will get put to shame pretty quick, but you've got to start somewhere

I was at the range and I found all these rifles just lying around.

I yelled out to the guys 200m away down range but none answered.

Kept 'em all.

That's how my motley collection is growing :D

They do sell quite a few display cases or whatever they're called at my LGS that have 20-30 brass or dummy cartridges for pistols, or 'african rifles' or whatever your interest is.

Gotta sneak one up onto the wall without the Mrs noticing.

I've got brass from just about everything from .22 to .458 in modern cartridges.

Nearly all sourced from the floor of my local range as well :D

You can build up a pretty respectable collection that way.

And reloading components.

People throw away a fortune in 1-shot factory brass at my range.

If you are looking to collect cartridges & associated items, join ACCA (Australian Cartridge Collectors Association), all types of collectible ammo, reloading gear, packets, advertising material, powder tins, inert ordnance, etc.

Go to website to get membership details.

Enjoy, Ozzi.

At the moment it's clear that the Australian Cartridge Collectors Association website has been hacked.

Going to it redirects you to to some abandoned cheap meds domain.

Something to avoid for the moment...

Doesn't work for me either.

I Google for 'Australian Cartridge Collectors Association' and it comes up with the site fine, but it goes to same broken meds domain when clicking the link...

Something's broke good...

Thanks.

OK fellow cartridge collectors, I have been advised by ACCA webmaster that indeed the site had been hacked but has been cleaned & cleared. Could those who are remotely interested try to access the ACCA website & let me know if you still experience problems being redirected, please?

Thanks,

Regards Ozzi.
