I grabbed the hornady 17g vmax $199 for 500 rounds my marlin seems to like the hornady stuff over everthing I have put through it. and oddly enough it is one of the cheapest rounds available.
Heckler303 I hear you on the reloading thing I haven't got there yet saving up a few more cases before I buy a press. Just got my second centre fire rifle yesterday oddly enough a 303 I think the 17hmr is just a great little rim fire round to have a plink with cheap, accurate and reasonably quiet I think that when the Aussie dollar improves we should see prices drop a little. At the end of the day both the 17hmr and a 17 hornet have a few things going for them what ever way you look at them.
