Do you guys reckon that with the recent production of ammunition by browning in Australia, that it could be cheaper then imported ammo?

Didn't know Browning ammo was Australian made? Seem some prices looks like Premium range$$. If the same Ammo is available US I bet it would be half the price!

I saw a picture today of a bunch of shells on a conveyer and Im 99.99% it said 'Australian made' I was shocked myself, unless my eyes were playing tricks on me

I can imagine i'll have the same if not more " premium " price tag as the us target ammo, seen some .308 going for $70 a box of 20.. ouch

Will more than likely come off the same lines Winchester is done here.

They have announced a collaboration in the US too.

According to the link put up by Cryptic, only the 16Ga shot shells are being made in Aus, everything else is being made in the USA ?

That was just a US newslink showing the link between Winchester and Browning. For our market they will probably do other stuff here and use the same machinery as their branch companies.
Couldnt find any Aust news or website details though.

Looks like a good price and should have a bit of punch to it. Might try some in my t-bolt if they ever make it to Tas. :unknown:

I read that the Browning ammo sold here in the US is contracted out to another ammo maker
