Dragons Breath. Best fun you can have with your daks on, sadly the Fun Police have banned them.

I remember seeing mine security in South Africa in the good-old bad-old days shooting a 12ga round that had a large hard rubber ball with a steel centre - less than lethal provided the usual caveats - don't shoot straight at areas like eyes, heads, etc.

When I got my first Greener shotgun my Dad gave me a bag of assorted shotshells he had bought with him on the boat in 1967 amongst the target stuff was a few cardboard OO/SG shells made by Sellier Bellot.I used a few on goats and they worked as good as Winchestor stuff without the recoil.I still have one just because.Has anyone else used or have cardboard shotshells??

So for anyone interested, i did a quick trip to a local state forest to try and get a quick zero of the shotty, found a 20m give or take a bit, safe clearing ( a safe clearing is extreamly hard to find as i'm sure we all know )

I had this stupid idea that it was pretty much going to be bang on, but not so, rookie mistake number one was trying to get a zero with slugs on a 20cm gong, waaaay to small and only managed a few hits out of a box, because i had no idea where they were going, but i did managed a few hits holding over under left and right trying my hardest to shoot the dirt around for something, managed to get it roughly zeroed but i think its a bit to high above the bore for a 20m zero as the dots pretty much level with the iron sight.

But at least it proved that my custom mount works, i've shimmed the rear to push the sight down slightly to try again next time when and where ever that is

The shotty functioned flawlessly, and i've decided bolt action shotguns are the bombdigity, thanks to Bentaz :drinks:
