Has anybody noticed an uneven base on the 117 btsp projectiles in 25-06 my last two box's have been out of square
at the base
This can be seen with the naked eye
I've tried to find some way to contact Hornady but probably not using the right info

How i found out was instead of shooting 5/8" they opened up to 3" to 4"
has anybody got any idears
I have two box's they won't take back because they are open. :violin:

Consumer Affairs? :unknown: That's my best guess. If they are obviously defective to the naked eye, the shop should take them back.

Best way is to email Hornady directly and if possible send pictures.
They should be concerned because their reputation is at stake.
I wouldn't waste time with the importers or the shop.
As for the comment about them being defective..... they fit the caliber of the barrel, they come out of the barrel when the rifle goes bang, they aren't unsafe and they go in the general direction of point of aim so they are 'reasonably' fit for purpose.

Thanks for the info I will look that up and for being safe that would be true but I would have thought the accuracy would be off with
the inperfection of the projectile.
Thanks again.
