.30-'06 or 8x57mm I'd say. Have you measured the bullet diameters?

Your 1st cartridge is French 7.62 Nato, made by Societe Francaise des Munitions, Issy-les-Moulineaux. The 2nd, is WW2 US 30-06 link made by Des Moines Ordnance,

Now that you point it out, that vague blur does look like it could be "7.62" :-)
