Hi guys,
I'm researching the 6.5 Creedmoor and .260 Remington for a potential new rifle buy, I know they're extremely similar, just trying to really nail down the difference here.
I'm not talking about ammo availability, cost and those kinds of things for now. Just the practical differences between the,
As far as I can tell it really boils down to these two things.
.260 Remington - Slightly higher case capacity, so a bit more juice can be squeezed out of it with the extra powder.
6.5 Creedmoor - Designed for longer bullets in the same calibre, so if going for maximum performance you can load higher BC projectiles for the benefits this brings.
Is that a fair assessment?
