aftermarket stock for Winchester M70 Featherweight?

Post by TBJ » 17 Sep 2018, 10:41 pm

I've had my Winchester Model 70 Featherweight for the past few years, it's taken many deer, and been my faithful hunting companion, However after many hunts in the bush, the stock and blueing were looking a lot worse for wear with a lot of bare metal showing in places, and so with my last hunt for the year over I decided that I'll overhaul it, I've sent the gun off to be Cerakoted, and am wanting a new stock for it, however I can't seem to find anyone that inlets for the Featherweight contour barrel, I was hoping for a B&C or maybe an H-S but I can't seem to find one except for the McMillan of which has a massive wait time, is very expensive and I'm not sure how to get it from the US, so who else makes a stock for a M70 Featherweight? doesn't necessarily have to be a Synthetic, I'd be happy with a nice Wood or Laminate stock also.
thanks

I can do a laminate copy of your old stock if you were to send it up to me.

No, I don't unfortunatly. I generally only do reproduction copies, so unless you have or can borrow an original stock, or have enough pieces of original stock to put together, to be used as a template, then I probably can't help.
