375 Winchester big bore long loads

Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone knew what parts of my action to shorten or modify to adjust for longer cartridge overall length, in 375 Winchester big bore lever gun.

I am aiming to do this to get the bullet closer to the rifling if you know what I need to do i would appreciate your suggestions or know whom I would talk to about achieving this.

I have loaded 245 grain HRBC lead bullet crimped in the last lube/ base groove and this load needs to be single shot but it does not even touch the rifling.

That is a huge throat

The loaded cartridge length is 2.724 inch

Doing this modification will produce two things.

1. Bullet closure to the rifling
2. more room for powder/ verlocity

Thanks Mick
