Clamp on bipod for bench rifle stock

Post by crush » 05 Feb 2014, 10:49 am

Hi,

Does anyone know if someone makes something like a clamp on bipod for benchrest stocks?

I'm thinking for a bench 22 which is still light enough to carry around, but doesn't have a bipod stud because of the flat benchrest stock.

Instead of drilling the stock for a stud, a clamp on one would be cool.

Anyone know of such a thing?

Just have done flush cups fitted to the forend then you can plug in the sling swivels in and fit your bipod

If you're worried about the stud getting in the way when it's on the bench, get a bipod and mount that install on the front of the fore end of the stock, they don't all have to be fitted to the bottom.

Current issue of SSAA mag has a few adverts for the bipods you're talking about.
