Remington 7615 cycling issue/metal clip component ejection

Post by bah » 04 Apr 2019, 7:14 pm

Hi there,

I’m just reaching out to find out more about others’ experiences with the Remington 7615 police. I picked up one today, and when I was familiarising myself with the action, noticed that a silver object resembling a paperclip sprang out of the action. Not sure what to make of it, but here is a photo - any tips and tricks for maintenance/preferred ammunition would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

OSA 55gr gameking is always a winner for cheap+effectiveness, but really anything that fits the mag will do

Heres the cleaning steps, you can pull it apart but im lazy :P
- Chamber brush to clean the bore out
- Small brush/toothbrush to clean the bolt face (avoid light primer strikes which has happened once when heaps dirty)
- Bore snake down barrel
- Oil the crap out of it so it doesnt rust like an 80's Falcon
