Has anyone here brought a new Oryx stock.
I'm eyeing one of but wanted some feedback first.

What's your thoughts?

While I was in Syd on the weekend I went and had a look at some stocks for mt Rem 700 .308.

Ended up getting the Oryx and looking forward to fitting it up in the next couple of days.

I look forward to your observations. Sorry I could not provide some input. I have not seen or used one before.

I have two of them now. One for a Howa Mini action and the other for a Howa short action. For the money I reckon they are pretty good value. I think I paid $549 for each of them. I remember paying around $450 for a MDT LSS chassis without the butt stock setup and pistol grip. So bang for buck they are pretty good value.

They are definelty a bit heavy in the forend. But still pretty well balanced.

My only real negative. Is the length of pull adjustment. While it is adjustable. It only comes with one spacer fitted. And that's the only spacer included. But at the price point I don't think you can complain too much
