Larger Bolt Knobs

So manage to get a few guys off to the gunsmith last week to fix a few small bolt knobs. Super pleased with the outcome

Zasty mini mauser 22-250 got a longer and better shaped Alloy knob whilst the Ruger 357 Carbine got a heaps larger Lumley arms CF knob. Leverage and scope clearance has also improved. :drinks:

Very flash, nice work. Did you thread the bolt shaft to fit the new knob?

thanks 8x57, Ruger 357 carbine is built on a rimfire action and bolt knob whilst big enough suffers from clearance issues with scopes, I have a 25 cal barrel that will be screwed on shortly so a fix was always on the cards, the Mini mauser have a silly little bolt like a rimfire and a mate gave me the small alloy knob which was designed for the action. :drinks:

I looked at those, and a number of other options, but in the end decided to make one for something different. Used part of an old gidgee fence post. You should have seen the pile of woodchips and sawdust I created to make it. You would think I made a table and chairs.
