Zastava CZ99 ejector?

Post by Philimac » 06 Apr 2014, 9:30 am

Hey,

I have only been a gun owner for 10 months, and I am feeling my way with some things.

I bought a Zastava ZC99 .22 precision as part of the "bunny buster pack" as my first rifle.
It has been great for the whole family, had approx 1500 rounds put through it and is very accurate and reliable.

Until last night after an afternoon at the range.
Whilst cleaning, a small metal plate came out of the action.
I have been looking online and think it is the ejector?
I did have one round yesterday that gave me some grief ejecting, so this makes me think that it is.

Is this something that I could fix my self? If so how?
Otherwise, what would this sort of repair cost?

Cheers.

8 months old, I'd be taking it back to where you bought it.

Yeah, I was thinking the same.
Just trying to get some opinions, thanks!

Post a few photos up, I'm unfamiliar with the rifle. It may be an easy fix. If you tinker too much you way void any warranty. If you decide to take the action out of the stock, be carefully with the screws. If you butcher them they will knock back any warranty work and say you did it, not manufacturing fault.

Hey,

Attached are a couple of photo's of the part (does not seem to be broken at all).

Also is a link to a simple description of the rifle.

Thanks.
