Carbon vs stainless steel cleaning rods

Hi all hope u are doing well..........Ok ,need a new cleaning rod must be one piece , 34 " to 36" in carbon or stainless steal ,which one most of my rods have been plastic coated steal but most are carbon / ss now so which one????????????

Go for a Dewy SS. and make sure it is long enough.

Pro shot been using them for 10 years or more if they're good enough for a lot of benchrest Shooters they are good enough for me they do a 36 inch Rod to

Proshot (Stainess) are my preference, have them in a range of lengths and diameters.

Ok sounds good but a lot of the local LGS have dont have a great selection , only cheap 3 piece rods and dont want to buy one off E/bay ,incase of damage by OZZIE post, things will get back to normal soon ,stocks are on the move , and yes only get what u pay for..........just have to wait :thumbsup:

Yes my only fear is Ozzie post ,both Dewy and pro shot are both top quality hate to spend x amount only to send it back bent ,i will wait ,there must be some one with in driving distance who has 1 ......Thanks :thumbsup:

I have 5 pro shot cleaning rods here all from the BRT the way they Pack them is impressive it will not come bent .

Cleaning is over rated and done too much anyway. I don’t think it will make a huge diff what the Rod is made out of.

Yep sounds good been on line ,made a heap of calls on luck ,ect : only got the Hoppes in stainless ,would like plastic coated or carbon ,making the call...

ok got a few to chose from ok the question is will i go stainless steal or plastic coated they are dewy brand ..............not cheap gut good quality ... :thumbsup:
