Anyone milled their pistol for optics?

In the near future I might purchase a Shadow 2 or TS2 but factory optics ready only comes in Shadow 2 blue and not offered it the custom orange/TS2 model.

Has anyone milled their pistols for optics before, if so, any gun smith recommendation?

The TS/TSO/TS2 slides don't have enough meat to be milled for an optic, I recently spoke to a few gunsmiths about having the Mrs' TS2 milled out and it's a no-go.

I haven't personally had my Shadow 2 milled, but I have seen plenty that have been milled and as you said, can come in an optic ready config.

The best option for mounting an optic on a TS/TSO/TS2 will be a side mounted over the top arrangement, popular on IPSC open guns. We haven't been able to find a rear dovetail adaptor suit TS/TSO/TS2, not to say that one couldn't be made.
