One of the sweetest smells in the world.
Iv been using it for years, it definitely dissolves lead fouling and carbon.
Spilt ½ a bottle 2 nights ago on the shed floor when I turned around holding my cleaning rod.

Works as advertised and smells delicious. Will remove some copper however I’ve found if I have a lot of copper fouling I use a copper cleaner as well.

I can't relate to liking the smell myself but it does the job quite well. One of those products that is ubiquitous for a reason.

thank you everyone so far.. used it this morning on my 308 and 22's ... found the first patch was REALLY blue... then the next 2-3 patchs were almost spotless... so I'll safely assume they clean... and yes, does smell pretty sweet ...

does anybody use any other products after cleaning ?? I usually put a small amount of oil in the bore on a patch, but I'm going to range tomorrow so I didn't.. but open to suggestions ??

Sweets 7.62 is an old favourite.

For normal carbon cleaning I use this,

Smells nice but its a pretty average product these days, removes next to no copper unfortunately.
Drop of Ballistol robla solo onto a patch of it will fix that but.

Yeah... I wipe it dry and use G96 which is just a fancy oil.
Dry patch before use
