Can anyone recommend a woodworker that can do rifle stock checkering preferably in SA thanks

Don't know anyone but I did some stippling on a stock myself to give it the Anschutz look, was pretty happy with it. Perhaps you could give checkering a go?

I did one stock myself, wasn't bad for a first attempt but far from tge sharp lines of a quality job.

You could try calling around the local furniture makers, there's a couple left in Adelaide who specialise in high end workmanship.
I'm sure one of them would either do the job or know someone who could.
