WHAT??? if any difference does a hornet bolt head have from a standard Lee Enfield bolt??

The rim on the hornet is much smaller than a 303.
1. The standard extractor claw might not reach over the rim
2. Even if it does there is nothing to support the case for extraction or to make the case eject.
So the answer is that the Hornet bolt head is completely different.

The main difference in the Hornet bolt head, apart from the modified extractor, is a slot cut into the bolt head opposite the extractor for the special spring loaded ejector set into the left action wall. You can use a normal bolt head with modified extractor but only as a single shot with manual removal of the fire case or use an empty magazine for the extracted case to drop into same as the No2 Trainer.
