Lithgow stock wood type

As per heading, WHERE???? would I find out the type of wood lirhgow small arms used for their .22stocks, it`s a light wood, not coachwood

According to Lithgow it's either polymer, walnut or laminate - laminate I would assume means stained laminated pine.

Coachwood was used on Slazenger rifles.

i remember seeing 303's when i was a kid in beautiful red timber of some sort . dunno what that might be fellas ?

It`s postwar Lithgow 22,s wood type I am enquiring about

Maybe the Walnut is imported from Turkey, or Black Walnut from the US of A. Not sure
