I'd say quite a bit more.

The 22-250 case volume is 43gr if water, the .243 case volume is 54gr of water. They are not the same case.


I was going from memory at the time but obviously I remembered them wrong. Off the top of my head I thought they were much closer than that.

No worries, wasn't having a go mate :)

In fact I reckon for smal pests the 250 savage case is about right, I'd like to play with one necked out to 6mm, less speed than a .243 but more than a .223 shooting 55-65 gr pills.
