Recommend a gunsmith for rifle bedding in Melbourne?

As per the topic, looking for a smith in Melbourne to bed a rifle for me.

Went to one of my locals in SE melb but was told "at least" a month wait, and nearly $400

Not that I'm the gunsmithing expert, but that seems like a lot...

Recommendations?

Look up Kudu Services in Montrose (I think it's Montrose?)

Had my Hawkeye bedded there. Took 10-12 days from memory and I think it was $250.

The owner Bob does good work (even though he's a bit of a cranky bastard :D)

Some serious game trophies in the shop to have a drool over too.

Thanks Lorgar.

I have a Ruger Hawkeye (among others) too so that's a happy coincidence.

I'll look Kudu up.

Ow, one thing I forgot to add.

He only does wood and laminate stocks - usually won't do synthetics as (apparently) it doesn't bond well without grinding out a significant portion of the stock for the bedding compound to grip into.
