Mods for my new remington 700 300 win mag

Hey guys iv just ordered a remington 700 long range with a h-s precision stock I'd like to get it threaded and a muzzle break installed, bedded and possibly a few more things I'm in western suburbs of vic can anyone recommend someone who will do a decent job and not charge an arm and a leg

I've had mine bedded at Kudu Services at Montrose.

I was happy with the work and had other positive reviews before going there. Half the price of the quote from another LGS too.

Haven't had a barrel threaded but believe he does that too.

threaded in 5/8 x 24 done very little work. 0880 round

Building a serious collection there mate.

See you got the 300WSM already. This is going to be your target rifle obviously?

I've been looking at one of these myself but haven't found anyone for feedback yet.

I no longer have the 2 308s the 300 wsm is my sambar rifle and this will be a target rifle

Iv ended up going 375 h&h sps for $550 so gonna build it on that because there's none left in Australia

How can it be fun without rules... lots of rules... and old guys... old guys reminiscing about Lee Enfield Target rifles and sneering at your scope...

And don't forget telling you you're using the wrong powder and bullet weight.

Also complaining that your gun is too loud because it's getting in the way of their conversation during shooting.

That's the best.
