The barrel of my rifle touches the side of my stock near the tip so I'm looking to float it properly.
Looking at a few pics of people doing it, a piece of sand paper wrapped around a length of wood dowling looks to be the preferred method.
Not rocket science obviously to do this so I'm going to give it a go myself. Just wanted to check before I do if it's possible to go to far?
It's a regular stained walnut stock, so will need a coat of something. Other than that anything to be conscious off? I'm not going to weaken the stock or anything if I do something wrong am I?
Thanks all.
