GRS adjustable hunting stocks

What do you guys think of the GRS adjustable hunting stocks.

Hunting specifically this is.

On benchrest where comfort is super important I get it, for hunting though where you're doing snap freehand shots or if your lying prone not going to be super comfortable anyway, and aren't shooting groups, do you think all the adjustments for comfort earn their keep or is it a bit of a wank for hunting?

The only problem with the contour grips is if your hand is the wrong size for the contour you're basically boned. It'll never be comfortable.

If it is comfortable though, they're a winner. The adjustable stock and cheek piece make shouldering the rifle to the perfect position easier and faster so there is an advantage in the field and not just the range.

The GRS stocks are great IMO.

There is an element of personal fit to it but either way with the adjustments it's likely going to be better than a fixed factory stock that's built to an average 'one size fits all'. Or doesn't as the case may be.

The wrist angle is the only thing that's a bit quirky to start, but IMO far more comfortable after the little getting used to.

I like them too. And they're not crazily priced like some of the others.

$1,500 for a stock? Not for me....

Get to your local and cop a feel (of the stock )

They're a good build

I could do with one in Jacaranda or Green Mountain.

The picture isn't a great representation of the colours there I'd say.

The red and blue ones look a bit gaudy there, IRL they're a more subdued coloured which looks good.

I'm interested in the adjustable hunter or a varmint Grs for my varmint tikka 30-06.

Any comments or advice?

I still haven't bit the bullet and got one myself, mainly just because of the price and I do have a 'working' stock as it were.

Totally sold on them though. When a little fun money permits it's on my list.
