I have an American walnut stock and I was re-seating the action of my rifle after cleaning it...
To cut to the chase, I obviously tightened the rear screw too much because as I was turning the wrench I heard a sharp *snap* and now the rear of the action behind the safety is about a mm lower than it should be to be flush with the stock...
What's a guy to do?
