Torque setting for Tikka Muzzle brake?

Hey all,

A mate of mine recently bought a second hand Tikka 30-06.

When he picked it up the bloke selling it was nice enough to throw in a muzzle brake which had previously been on the rifle.

How to work out how much torque's right for it is the problem.

The brake has no brand machined into it or anything like that to Google for an installation guide.

If their a formula for screw tension that fits all or something like that?

There are torque calculators.

You got some measurements of the screws?

Yep, you can calculate the torque setting based on the screws.

Break out the calipers and you can figure it out with an online calculator.
