Jungle Carbine flash suppressor

Post by Download » 24 Apr 2016, 2:21 am

Bought a Jungle Carbine the other day for a steal. I checked that everything was matching and that it was a real No5, not a No4 conversion. Paid for it, got my PTA etc. However, it seems I missed one crucial thing when I bought it; some knob has cut off the bayonet lug.

I can't seem to find No5 flash suppressors anywhere online. Does anyone have a source for one?

And how does that restore a missing bayonet lug?

Ok, bad call on my part. Have you tried the old fashioned ring around of country gunshops for parted out rifles? Worked a treat for me during some of my builds?

You said someone cut off the Bayonet lug.

I'm sure South was suggesting recrowning it was the reason they cut of it, not a solution to your problem.

There may have been reason to do it other than being a knob is what he's saying I suspect.
