Choate adjustable tactical stock for Remington 700

Post by tactice » 10 Nov 2013, 9:33 am

I'm looking at one of the Choate adjustable tactical stocks for my .308 Remington 700.

From pictures and the Choate website, it looks like the rear but place is only adjust able down? Not up?

Usually I need a little more height for comfortable shouldering, not less.

Anyone know if these are just down for the pictures and they do go up?

I don't have one, but I'm pretty sure the rear plate rotates doesn't it?

Spin it round and the sliding buttplate is going in the right direction?

They're adjustable 1" up and down according to Choate.

I do like my Howas, but I wish they had half the accessories and after market parts Remington 700's have.

Thanks guys.

Wasn't crystal clear from what I'd seem.

1" up and down will do perfect.
