Ask your local gun shop or ask Nioa direct at http://www.nioa.com.au/contact/contact-nioa.html

All the Savage barrel nut rifles are easy to change barrels as you don't need to machine anything to change the headspace but you still need a set of gauges and the barrel nut wrench

G'Day Fella's,

1slktx, just remember, there are now Two different Thread sizes, for the Savage bolt action rifles!
For your own and everybody else's benefit, make sure you know which one you require, before you start asking and ordering!!!

Hope that helps

Why not!
The savage large diameter barrel/action has been around for yonks, maybe a decade... it allows more meat in the barrel shank when you chamber a big phat round...nowadays they dont do a long-action / large-diameter so its not as appealing... just the WSM rounds mainly.

You can tell by the short barrel nut used on the large diameter actions...

Carry on.....
