They'd be proof marks from the factory not necessary makers marks.

NP indicated nitrocellulose power proof as opposed to black powder

12 would be gauge

70 is chamber length in mm

The top two I'll have to look up but I'd say they indicate the manufacturer and the proofing company

Edit, just thought SP could mean Steel shot Proofed

What brand of fun is it? Country of origin could help ID the top mark.

There's stuff here

The SP has across various proof houses been used to indicate Special proof, Black powder proof and also Smokeless proof....in this case it may be the same or a Miroku specific mark.... research required...or maybe an email to the Aussie distributor.

NP Nitro proof / smokeless proof...

The 'SP' and 'NP' are just proof marks from the Japanese proof house TBD. My Browning ablot2 rifle made my Miroku also has NP stamped on the barrel as it's made in japan.

Miroku have a date code using two letters and you will have to locate the stamp. For example, PN=1989.

Z=1 Y=2 X=3 W=4 V=5 T=6 R=7 P=8 N=9 M=0

Might be some info to help here
