Hatchers Rifle Stocks

Post by teedo » 25 Nov 2016, 12:42 pm

Anyone seen the work of Hatchers Rifle Stocks in the flesh?

Feature wise I like the look of them... Raised cheek piece, thumbhole, bit of a beavertail hint on the foregrip.

English walnut too, but think I put it down to just bad photography making them look a bit cheap n' nasty in the photo.

Not saying they are, that's my question, just looks like it in the only picture going.

His website shows stocks that are machined not finished, You do the sanding and finishing yourself at the base level the same as Geoff Slee used to do and in fact Cameron uses a lot of Geoff's patterns. I have 3 atm and will be getting more in the future.

i bought 2 from him in march for my omarks but rough when you first get them they are Semi Inlet and you need to spend a few hours getting them where you want them to be.
The Omarks dropped straight in no work needed on the inletting side so i was quite suprised two seperate stocks after about 2 months of work i still have not finnished them lol
will take another photo tomorrow and post

I'm going to be receiving one of Hatcher's stocks for my Norinco Jw-15 22lr, so I'll put pics up after christmas day.

Well, my stock is made from pretty nice grade English Walnut, custom fit to suit me and my dimensions, and anything else I've wanted to add onto it he's done it, so I think my total price of $250 is pretty fair.

Hell, the rifle itself cost less though

Hi Fellas, Cameron Hatcher here. Yes I agree, the website photos do need upgrading! They are just photos of the patterns I use to copy from and will eventually be upgraded to show some actual machined jobs when I get the time. (along with a million other things!) Cheers for the compliments too
