Hi,
I have an old single barrel Stirling 12 g that I recently refurbished the stock & added a red bead.
Its in good nick and I am using it as a camp gun. I'm getting older so its light weight is appealing compared to my U/O.
My problem is the trigger pull on the Stirling is currently 3.5 kg compared with the U/O is about 2.3 kg. So it is fairly heavy. If I could reduce the pull to about 2.5kg it would be great.
Can any one assist with whats involved in lightening the trigger a little. I assume I will need to polish the sear a little & perhaps some other adjustments.
Are they complicated to dismantle and re-assemble?
Just looking for some guidance. The gun isn't worth much so taking it to a gun smith would be a bit silly.
