Barrel thread size?

Post by andym79 » 02 Feb 2017, 6:01 pm

Hi guys,

Firstly would anybody, know or be able to measure the thread size of a Greener GP shotgun?

Secondly how much steel does a gunsmith need to cut the barrel thread, for example if major thread diameter was 1.09", would a 1.12" shank be fine?

Thanks

No idea.
30-thou seems tight to me.
That's only 15-thou each side for thread depth.

EDIT: I just noticed you said major thread diameter.
In which case, I would think that's just fine. They'd probably take the sharp point off the thread anyway?
