I wouldn't might having a go at shaping a stock myself, just doing the inlet might be a bit beyond me for now.
I wonder, a milling place or whatever the right one is must be able to drop a plank in their machine and cut it out right pretty easy.
Does anywhere do this people know of?
Or give a workshop some measurements of the action and they can plug it into their mill?
(I think a mill is the right machine for this)
