Trigger honing stones?

Post by mattsten83 » 06 Oct 2017, 6:25 pm

Hi guys and girls,
Just joined and was wondering where to buy a set of honing stones to do trigger jobs? Was looking at the set of Arkansas stones on the Brownells site, but of coarse they are out of stock. Does anyone know where else I can get them or something similar from?
Thanks

I just use the lansky diamond sharpener for honing

I just use the stones from my knife sharpening kit and then polish with metal polish or sometimes I use fine sandpaper the polish with metal polish - just depends on what I feel like using as a rule.

Thanks Guys. was looking for something to get in and smooth out the side plates. I think I have it sorted. Also got a Lansky as well. Cheers
