Lithgow LA101 Trigger Pull Weight

Post by allan » 02 May 2018, 3:02 pm

What's the lowest safe, reliable pull weight any one has been able to achieve with the LA101 trigger?
I have two gunsmith tuned to 16 ozs. which are very crisp and proved safe over thousands of rounds. Not sure that these triggers are designed to go any lower.
A friend is thinking about building a BR rig around an LA101 action and is hoping to set up a trigger with 5/6 oz. pull weight.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Allan.

"PK", resident gunsmith at CRM in Cairns did one:

Rolf Hey in Hobart did the other one.

I've been advised that Glen Coughlan (the trigger guy) in Tasmania is also doing LA101 triggers these days. I don't "do" social media sites but I understand he may be contacted via Facebook.
