Hi all
I picked up one of these so thought i would give you my initial thoughts...

construction seems reasonably sturdy (for a light weight device). total weight is just under 1kg. Although height locks in easily, I'm not totally convinced about the "Cinch" Mechanism, it didnt seem to do much, so that will have to wait until its taken to the range for testing.

Obviously its very far from a "Proper" bench rest device and really is more constructed for field work, but i plan to use it on the bench for a while, until I decide what "proper" bench rest device I want to get.

Bag construction looks solid with good canvas (ish) looking material. Not sure what its filled with, but the contents seem heavy enough.

Aluminium also seems pretty well constructed and whilst i would prefer a little more weight to it, i suppose its designed to find the balance between sturdiness and portability for the field

At $55 delivered, its a nice handy little tool that i think i will make use of.

Might try take some video of it whilst shooting the 308. The 308 will certainly put it to the test and we'll see if it works as described!

p.s. I don't like the straps. I don't think i'll use them...

will do. if silverdale is open this weekend i will go out for a shoot and film it working. i have a feeling silverdale is closed though for that deer demonstration
i played with it some more last night and my initial fear that the cinch lock didn't work very well has been proven wrong. it actually works really well and locks down the vertical stem very nicely.
all looks good so far..
