I reckon they are the go mate, how quick is it to setup? not bloody cheap are they? but if they are accurate and reliable one can live with the cost.

nice work deye243

I picked one of these up at the LGS early this week, cant wait to see how it goes tomorrow at the range
the guy behind the counter did say be prepared to see some small accuracy loss as it changes the harmonics

I've had one of these for ages and you won't be disappointed cause they just work perfectly straight out of the box. I haven't have to play with the sensitivity at all and I've used it on .17 Remington up to 375 Cheytac. The only thing I've had to do was to buy a V2 bayonet and modify it to fit over the clamshell muzzle brakes fitted to my larger rifles. Ensure you check the clearance using the small length of quad fitted in the lid and on the bigger calibres check for looseness every 4-5 shots as they can loosen up under recoil.

Thanks for that Deye, that's perfect I reckon - that Acoustic one is similar too, very quick to set up and the other thing is you can set it up down near you target to see what velocities etc its doing down the pointy end too (not sure if that's all that important to know) but I'm sure some would find it handy to know, one day I'll buy one.

It does look a lot like a bayonet if you didn't know any better. Especially if you saw the scan and anything on the packaging indicated it was for firearms.

Is the display wireless or do you need the cable connected while shooting to record?

Display is wired by way of a 3 pin headphone type plug and turns the display on when connected. Wireless would be a pain in the backside having to worry about 2 sets of batteries and "pairing". I gave up on a lot of wireless technology, prefering to use good solid wired connections.

well Scott i took it out and it took me 48 seconds to have it on and ready to go and it didn't change the POI on the 750y gong

all hit the usual 3" to 5" 3 shot groups and the best ES i ever got with an optical crony was around 80 to 120 fps now look at the

pics this thing is way more accurate . the last shot is not on the display and was 3089fps .......... :D :D :D

cal is 7mm mag and 162 AMAX ....

cheers D
