Timber Stock wanted

Post by Die Judicii » 01 Aug 2018, 8:28 pm

Seeing as we don't have a classifieds section anymore/still, for selling stuff,,,,,,,
Can I put up a WANTED ad.

I'm still looking for a timber stock to fit a Zastava .375 H+H
It is stamped 91, and I think that is the model.

The synthetic stock is branded Mauser STM 2098 and also is marked 98

Would be very grateful if some-one can come up with one.

Die Judicii, try http://www.hatchersriflestocks.com.au.
I know he makes them in "Classic English" style, for the Zastava but not sure about one chambered for the .375 H&H?
Contact Cameron (Hatcher), and ask him but remember, these are Not a Drop In fit.

Hope that helps

Just recently a bloke advertised a nearly finished one in top quality turkish on abused guns.
After a couple of phone calls,, sms's,, and I said I would buy it,,,,,, then nothing.

I think he decided not to sell it, and didn't have enough tennis balls to say so.

Ahhhhh well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, back to the drawing board.

No worries. Lots of options for Mauser 98, which is what I'm guessingthe 98 stamped on your stock references.

I have promised myself not to do any more rifle builds
but if I were to it would be another m98 and I would be looking at this stock very seriously
I'm actually getting an itch just thinking about it
I have a brand new m98 kepplinger set target trigger in the safe and a 308 barrel, a speedlock kit, an action wouldn't be much
I have to stop it now

this is a beautiful stock for a mauser 98

Ha Ha Ha Ha,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

That is the very stock I tried to buy.
And in the midst of exchanging measurements,,,,,,,,,,, he seemed to drop off the face of the earth.
I sent him several sms's since,,,,,,, and he hasn't replied.
