Well...to tell the truth...

The most satisfying sight ive seen through a scope is my longest (to date) head shot on a bunny.

The second most spectacular sight ive seen through a scope is a bunny doing a good 12 foot high double summersault/triple pike/backward flip quadruple twist from clipping its head at 100yds with a .22... :allegedly:
Land, get to its feet, shake its head, look around then hit the afterburner & run like hell without knowing where he wants to go...  (poor little thing).

But THE most spectacular sight ive seen through my scopes would have to be a feral pigeon hit at 100yds with a 32gr Zmax doing anywhere between 3600-4000 fps...
It just looks like remote detonated explosives in a feather n down pillow..."POOF"

But sorry...as for non living target. ..maybe beer/softdrink cans filled with water & hit with high velocity ballistic tips... boring i know... :unknown:
Its just a pain setting them up...

Dont think I'll ever get bored with making steel ring with cast bullets and black powder that are a long ways off! Just spent a weekend with a bloke I met on line smacking gongs at the NSW SSAA BPCR Silhouette Championships and I'll be going back next year. Got a video of black powder gong smacking on my little Noisydad YT channel.

Coke cans full of water or shaving cream ??????????????????????

BAH HUMBUG,,,,,,,,,,,,,

If ya want something spectacular try this ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

1) Big bonfire (day or night) but day is probly best.

2) gentle breeze blowing toward bonfire

3) a target platform approx 2-4 metres in front of bonfire

4) a can of butane gas on the target platform

5) from about 50 metres distance hit can with something like a 22/250 at 4,000 fps.

6) film and or watch the carnage and ensuing fireball

7) Do it again,, and again,, and again etc etc infinitem

BEWARE OF FLYING SCHRAPNEL ,,,,,,,,

They are cheap,,,,,,,,, buy em by the six pack at most supermarkets and the like.

The fire ball is like an after burner,,,,,,,,,
When the can bursts from the projectile,, there is a large (invisible cloud) of gas,, and when the said breeze wafts it toward/into the bonfire
it then ignites and you have a massive reddish orange fireball.

Oh,,,, and it is VERY child safe when we do it, cos we do it when there are NO children about.

Well I like my 7'' gong ,yep my 7'' gong
It's a 7'' circle cut from 12mm bissaloy hung on a stand and its good to see it do back flips when it's hit
I've started with the 7mag and working out to where ever I can hit it and i'm up to 500yds so far although everything past 250yds
has been a fluke but I don't mind if I fluke it every time  :D

My personal favourite is a picture of Mista Rabbit, I posted it on the forum but it apparently was too politically incorrect as it was removed by the mods.

Fair call though, I imagine there are rules of which I am unaware that govern what they are allowed to publish.

Doesn't stop me from enjoying putting holes in him though. :D

Post it back up mate, I can't say I recall seeing it, I've posted plenty of pics of exploded rabbits on here over the years, some only had a tuffed of hair hanging of a blackberry bush to show they even existed

Not that I have any urges to do so,,,,,,, but I believe there are "law/s" that say it's illegal to use human outline/silloette type targets.

Can any-one provide further info on this ???
