Maybe one of these: - https://www.nioa.com.au/products/view/CALD-HRNXT or https://www.nioa.com.au/products/view/CALD-JROCK
Lyman used to make a cheap one but it's not catalogued any more. There are others

what’s in your front bag - is it heavy with wet sand?
Maybe some polystyrene foam blocks or maybe even a small bean bag.

Cat litter + rice. Im happy with the fill material , just need the extra height.

Those adjustable rests look ok. Wouldn't be too hard to make one. Or modify my rest and prop it on an adjustable platform.

Would one of those max Box Magentic gun rests be any help?

Fairly light and portable:

I just had an idea with a mini camera tripod.
I could attach an aluminium plate to a camera tripod and rest the bag on it. Be less than $20.

Some of those gizmos are eccy. $80 + :)

Could you use a block of wood underneath your front bag or can you reduce the height of your rear bag?

I shoot hunting rifles off a bipod sitting on some carpet and get some pretty creditable results.

Bolt a plank of thick plywood to the top and bottom of a wind up car jack. Or I'm sure you could invent something to stick on the top to rest your rifle on. Winds up about 15 inches before it gets wobbly. Can buy the jacks on eBay for $20 or less. And it's minutely adjustable.

love it. I could drill holes in it to reduce weight and fix a aluminium plate on either end to sit the bag on and widen the footprint. .

I just clicked on this thread to read up on responses and a bit blurry eyed - glancing at the first post - “how do I get 6 inches “ is what I read...wrong forum I know :-)

Ive been using my Caldwell bag on its end and works. But want to experiment with dialing in different heights at a whim.

I've got an MTM shooting rest that has an adjustable front rest, pretty easy to use and heaps of elevation. Also has a tray so I just put my hand in front of the ejection port and empty brass drops into the tray.

Nice kit. and affordable for what it is. But add another $20 for postage and handling ,brings it up to $86. .

Unfortunately, I'll still have to explore the DIY option

I would think the best DiY option is a day pack with some clothing in it.

Nah. Too agricultural.

Besides I don't reload and need something to do on a rainy day.

Agricultural?
Is this for competition or field use?

What don't you like about the ones you have seen? Even a cheep Harris can do the job and is less bulky to carry than a car jack and a bag of sand.

Not sure what your front sandbag is...but mine is a caldwell tackdriver.
I used to use a block (off-cut) of 190x45 pine under it at the range to get the elevation i needed.
If i use it over the bonnet or on the ground out in the field & need a tad more elevation, i just turn it on its side. :)
