A day at the range ........

Post by Homer » 25 Feb 2019, 10:41 am

G'Day Fella's,

I was away bush on the weekend, and wanted to sight in and test a few new accessories.
A recent change in location, has forced me to take my portable shooting bench, as the concrete topped one, is still leaning up against a tree here.

This is the portable shooting bench (FYI- 1 meter front to back, 750mm wide and made out of 30mm thick ply wood).

I made this bench decades ago, and used to use it to shoot at in particular, Rabbits, prior to the Caleci Virus being released ..................

Hope this helps give some of you blokes, some ideas, to make up your own portable bench.

Nicely done.

Where do the legs and leg mounts come from? I'm making a chuck box at the moment and I've been thinking about how to add removable legs.

Looks great, portable and really practical but the stool sucks. Needs one with back support, arm rests and beer/wine of soft drink holders - perfect.

Good job as usual Homer...

What about the spring clips the legs snap into for storage/portability--where they from...? :unknown:

And how do the legs clip in for use...? are they solid & dont require bracing...?
