Ckye Pod

Post by Toppy91 » 19 Aug 2019, 6:29 am

Hi gents,

Currently tossing up between an MDT Ckye Pod or Atlas. Would also need an Arca adapter for the Atlas. I know everyone knows about the Atlas but any experience with the Ckye Pod?

Cheers!

Harris bipod is all you need, in fact the $30 knockoffs from China work just as well

It's more a matter of want rather than need. I like the idea of the direct arca interface for my ACC chassis with the Ckye Pod.

You have expensive tastes if I have money to buy points I think I could use the $495 elsewhere to achieve more. But hey if you have everything else all sorted go for it.

What sort of rifle are you sticking it on? Stiller? BAT Machine?

So the general consensus is that it might be a bit overkill lol. It's just a howa 1500 in 6.5 creed in an MDT ACC chassis

Save up and get the Stiller and put the Chinese Harris copy on it.

Sic lol

I I find my cheap utg bipod with picatinny rail airport is very stable, the Harris jumps to much. So i got a Caldwell front rest bag..... very nice.... so i am going to knock up a car Jack rest as the bag isn't very adjustable.

I don't see point in spending more on the rest than your gun :sarcasm:
