How to get pics from game /trail cam

Post by Blr243 » 27 Oct 2019, 1:39 pm

Sitting on a watet hole now hoping for some visitors other than a lazy goanna I c chewing on last nights boar ....yesterday’s inspection revealed 2000 plus pics. We have had a ton of voilent wind and I suspect the trunk of sapling moving around has caused this. I have now moveed cam it to a solo picket I don’t want to be scrolling thro that many on the small trail camera screen. I can’t plug into a computer wen I get home because the computer is temporarily on the blink. Is there some sort of card reader that can use wifi to send all those pics to my iPad ?

Why not get a 2nd hand laptop and view the photos/video in the field while waiting? Could also check the email, facebook and keep up to date on "Enough Gun' too...

A cheap rechargeable tablet with a USB port sounds like the go. This waterhole is very boring

Not so boring now. An echidna came poking along our way and stopped 8 ft from us sniffing and clawing at the soil. With one hand on the riflescope ( camera ) and another firmly gripped on Deisel s collar I was very surprised he did not wind us It was blowing straight of us into him. When he walked past he was no more than 6 feet away. I can still see him now crawling around the ground just doin his thing He just walked over the sand bank and is now having a drink. Completely oblivious the whole time how close he walked to a man a dog and a gun

Next next photo taken from above. He’s three feet away and had no idea I was there. While stalking taking pics and vids of him I realised I had never before got so close to something which seemed to have extremely little senses about preventions of an attack. And it’s all about because they don’t need to run or stay away from danger when 99 per cent of predators find it not work the effort and pain
