Tophet1 Ive been tempted by the B&C but the factory HTI's are liveable, yes they have pillars so you can tighten your action right up.
Because the stocks are a bit light in construction and the forend is a bit flexy I ripped a fair amount out of the barrel channel so that its always free floated. Ive done this to both my sporter and HB.
P60 Flexovit abrasive cloth sheet from bunnings gets to the job done, buy 3 sheets as you'll find yourself doing more than 1 gun
Wrapped the sheet nice and tight around a knife steel and rip away, only takes 5mins. bash the sheet cleen of the plastic and paint.
You can quicken the process even more by dragging a scarp potato peeler thru first
