Camo Wrap

Who here uses the "sticks to itself" Camo wrap on barrels etc,,,, especially the bright stainless ones ?

I have used the expensive type as well as the cheap ebay stuff.
I find it to be an excellent product (both expensive stuff and the cheap variety)

When it eventually gets scuffed, ragged, and stuffed, it's a simple job of unwrap it and re wrap with new.

I also used to apply it to the stainless bolt handle, but this time a length of satin black shrink wrap was applied.
It came up real good, and is similar to the finish on my scope so it blends in very nicely.

I tried the ebay stuff. Of it gets oil on it it goes all sticky and breaks down in just a few weeks.

So, i just use a home made "tube" of cammo cloth over the end of the barrel. I figure thats the most important bit to cover.

l haven't used camo wrap at all but with a similar reason l painted my stainless barrel with pot belly black primer paint,
it looks ok and is pretty tough but would be a hell of a lot harder to remove than the tape

This is the one I redid yesterday
And before anyone complains, the bolt is closed just for the purpose of picture taking.
I was pleasantly surprised how well the shrink wrap looks on the bolt.
