I have one of the "cheap" chinese green lasers,,,,, that I have mounted on an 8" diam plywood base,, with a multi directional ball/elbow leg.
When I shoot a dog, fox, hare or whatever in open ploughed ground or thick grass,,,,, I simply set it up so it pinpoints the carcass.
Then once I get down, I can walk directly to it without losing track of where it is.

Without it, I used to find that open ploughed ground was very difficult to locate rabbits, because they always roll down into a furrow in deep shadow.
And once down walking all furrows look the same.

Time saving.

In a way, the cheap chinese sh!t products actually help Aussie manufacturing businesses.
Every time someone buys the cheap and nasty chinese stuff,,,,,,, they quickly start looking for Australian made or other quality merchandise.
